Object-Level Millimeter-Wave Radar Sensor¶
1. Data Flow Overview¶
The object-level millimeter-wave radar simulation data flow begins at SimOne's object-level radar model. It directly generates target list data in the format expected by the ECU, transmits it via the Ethernet bus to the real-time target, and then delivers it to the ECU via the automotive bus for the radar perception algorithm. The data flow design must ensure the accuracy, latency, and synchronization of the target list data to meet the requirements of closed-loop control.
2. SimOne Configuration¶
(1) Select the ego vehicle, double-click to enter the ego vehicle editor;
(2) Select Sensor → Object-Level Sensor → Object-Level Millimeter-Wave Radar, and add it to the ego vehicle;
(3) Select a use case with targets and run it;
(4) Run Trans;
3. Real-Time Target Configuration¶
(1) Load the SimOneRadar model
- Select Simulation Model;
- Browse and select the SimOneRadar model file;
- Load the SimOneRadar model into the VeriStand project;
(2) Deploy the SimOneRadar model
Deploy the VeriStand project to ensure the SimOneRadar model can correctly receive the object-level radar simulation data sent by the Trans tool;
(3) Verify object-level radar data
Use the monitoring window in VeriStand to view signals in the SimOneRadar model. Verify the accuracy and latency of the object-level radar data to ensure it meets the input requirements of the ECU radar perception algorithm;
