Common Steps (Case Editor)

This section describes common operations for building scenarios in the Case Editor, including map selection, auto-generation of scene elements, and environment parameter configuration.

For a quick overview of the basic workflow in the Scene Editor, refer to Build a Simple Test Case and View Results.

Auto-Generate Scene

After selecting a map in the Case Editor, you can enable the Auto-Generate Roadside Scene feature in the right-side Map Parameter Settings panel to automatically generate roadside elements such as street lights, trees, green belts, and buildings along the road. This feature is primarily designed for externally imported OpenDRIVE maps.

Configure Environment (Weather / Time)

Describes how to configure simulation environment parameters in the Case Editor, including time-of-day and lighting (TOD), weather conditions (rain / snow / fog / wind / dust / lightning), and material effects. Supports loading presets via the environment panel or adjusting parameters in real time through the UE visualization console.
